About the Role
Armstrong Air, a trusted name in Florida for over 30 years, is seeking a Field Service Manager to oversee our growing Hollywood service division. This leadership position is ideal for an experienced HVAC professional who has advanced through the technician ranks and is ready to take on both field and managerial responsibilities. The Field Service Manager serves as the lead point of escalation for complex customer and troubleshooting issues, provides training and coaching to service technicians, and ensures service quality across residential, commercial, and multifamily clients. While the role carries leadership responsibilities, the manager will also handle service calls as needed until the team expands to full capacity. As the territory continues to grow, the Field Service Manager will also be responsible for working incoming leads and helping to convert them into new service opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and oversee a team of service technicians
Handle escalated customer concerns and complex troubleshooting issues
Train and onboard new hires, ensuring technical and customer service excellence
Maintain a strong presence in the field by running service calls as needed
Participate in and conduct weekly service meetings with the technician team for updates, training, and coordination
Uphold customer satisfaction standards by ensuring responsiveness, professionalism, and quality service delivery
Collaborate with leadership to grow and develop the Hollywood division
Work incoming leads as the territory expands, ensuring timely follow-up and supporting business growth
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of direct HVAC experience; Level 5 Technician status preferred
Strong troubleshooting skills across residential, commercial, and multifamily systems
Proven ability to coach, train, and supervise technicians
Demonstrated ability to handle escalated issues with professionalism and empathy
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; customer-conscious and team-oriented mindset
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 (subject to review after 90-day probationary period; top candidates may exceed this range)

Paid holidays and vacation accrual: Vacation begins after one year of service; sick time accrual begins after 90 days; vacation accrues at approx. 1.54 hours per week (~2 weeks per year for years 1–4)
