The Role

As a Registered Nurse with First Place Pediatrics, you will provide one-on-one private duty care to pediatric patients in the comfort and safety of their homes.

Imagine starting your day by reviewing the care plan for your patient — perhaps a resilient 5-year-old with complex medical needs. When you arrive, you’re greeted with a smile from a child who feels safe and excited to see you.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Administering medications and treatments

• Monitoring and documenting vital signs

• Managing G-tubes, tracheostomies, ventilators, and other skilled nursing needs

• Providing individualized, patient-centered care

• Engaging your patient through play and age-appropriate activities

As a home health RN, you are more than a clinician — you are a trusted advocate and partner. You work closely with families, offering education, reassurance, and support, ensuring they feel confident and empowered in their child’s care.

Requirements

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) License

• Current CPR Certification

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience

• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
