Position Summary: Daily Evening Visits from 8:00pm to 9:30pm
Salary Range: $35-$40 per Visit

The Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) provides direct, hands-on personal care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role is essential in ensuring our young patients receive the highest quality of care while promoting comfort, independence, and dignity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
  • Provide mobility support, including repositioning, transfers, and assistance with ambulation.
  • Help with feeding and nutritional needs as directed by the care plan.
  • Monitor and report changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising nurse.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
  • Support light housekeeping tasks related to patient care (e.g., changing linens, organizing medical supplies).
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and families.
  • Document care provided in accordance with state regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification in the state of California.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan as directed by the RN Case Manager.
  • Strong communication skills and compassion for pediatric patients and their families.
  • Experience working with medically fragile children (preferred but not required).
