Reports To: Development Manager
Objective of the Job:
This position is focused on the design and development of business applications and software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Responsible Steel requirements.
- Design, develop, test, and implement windows-based and web solutions to optimize and streamline business processes.
- Manage and enhance current systems in Finance, Sales, Maintenance, and Production areas.
- Maintain and administer various databases for business applications.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve company objectives.
- Document process flows and business rules.
- Stay updated with technology trends to ensure business continuity and apply them effectively.
Qualifications:
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in developing applications using C# or equivalent .NET language.
- Solid understanding of MSSQL.
- Experience with Oracle is a plus.
- Background in manufacturing is preferable.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
This role involves working in an office setting with occasional tasks in challenging mill environments (hot to cold). The position may require extended hours, weekend, and holiday coverage to support routine responsibilities.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not involve supervising others.
