Job Description

A private, family-owned Oil & Gas operating company in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced Landman.  Bachelor's degree and 3-10+ years of experience required.  This position will be responsible for the overall maintenance of all Non-Operated + Operated Prospects, Leases, Wells, and Contracts; in addition to assisting in company acquisitions, divestitures and the due diligence associated.  This is a great opportunity to join an established company that offers a flexible schedule and long-term stability!

Duties include:

• Analyze, review, interpret, negotiate, draft, and make recommendations relative to operating agreements, farmout agreements, exploration agreements, participation agreements, surface use agreements and other land-related documents.
• Negotiate and prepare leases for Company minerals.
• Research land records and review third party AFE proposals.
• Set up new and maintain prospect, contract, lease, and well files for Non-Ops and Ops.
• Set up and verify well interest (WI, NRI, BPO, APO, etc.), update ownership decks for changes in working interest ownership for Non-Ops.
• Run monthly Expiration and Obligation Reports, and pay lease rentals on a quarterly basis.
