Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
• Present findings in clear and concise formats to facilitate board and executive team decision-making.
• Track and analyze the performance of investments, generating insightful reports using relevant business software.
• Identify trends and potential risks to inform investment decisions.
• Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks associated with investments and spending decisions.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies to protect the company's financial health.
• Create and manage comprehensive budgets for the company, collaborating with department heads to assess long-term financial needs.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on spending and budget optimization.
• Cultivate strong relationships with partners and investors.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications include:

• 5+ years of experience in finance required; 3+ years Oil & Gas experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Investment banking or private equity experience preferred.
• Upstream O&G experience preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices.
• Proficiency in financial modeling software and business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
