Job Description

We are representing an independent O&G operator that is looking for an experienced Controller to join its successful Dallas, TX team.  This position will coordinate all financial, tax, managerial accounting, and financial reporting functions.  Will also lead a team of staff accountants.  

Qualifications include: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters in Accounting preferred)

• CPA license strongly preferred 

• 10 years of experience including upstream financial and operational accounting 

•  Experience with OGSys and Bolo programs

• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly in the areas of oil and gas accounting, investment company accounting, and fair value estimates

• Strong leadership, verbal, and written communication skills
