Job Description
A privately funded upstream Oil & Gas company is looking for a Senior Oil & Gas Revenue Accountant for their Austin, TX, OR Snyder, TX office.Duties include:
- Responsible for recording Oil & Gas Sales for Distribution to Owners
- Prepare revenue allocations
- Resolve Owner Relations Inquiries
- Coordinate with Purchasers to ensure Accuracy
- Account Reconciliations & Supporting Schedules
- Process & Build Adhoc Reports
- Assist with the Accounting Close Process
- Perform special assignments
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 5 years Oil and Gas Upstream Accounting Experience
- Excalibur Software Experience Preferred
- Proficiency in Excel
- In Depth Knowledge of Oil & Gas Revenue Distribution
- Ability to work independently, prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Strong Analytical, Math & Communication skills
- Attention to Detail and Exceptional Organizational skills
