Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with strong hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development to join our growing technology team. This position requires a 50/50 split between frontend and backend development, making it essential that candidates are equally comfortable building modern, responsive user interfaces and developing scalable, high-performance backend applications.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with C#/.NET on the backend, Angular or React on the frontend, SQL databases, Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, and hands-on AI development.

This individual will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications while contributing to innovative AI-powered solutions and modern cloud-based architectures.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development (50% Frontend / 50% Backend)

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, high-performance full stack applications with equal emphasis on frontend and backend development.
• Spend approximately 50% of development time on frontend engineering and 50% on backend engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

Frontend Development – 50%

• Design and develop modern, responsive, and user-friendly web applications using Angular or React.
• Build reusable UI components and implement scalable frontend architectures.
• Develop interactive user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance and functionality issues.

Backend Development – 50%

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and other backend services.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, database schemas, and data access layers.
• Implement secure, scalable, and maintainable backend architectures.
• Integrate applications with internal systems, third-party APIs, and cloud-based services.
• Troubleshoot backend issues, improve application performance, and ensure system reliability.

Cloud & Azure Development

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Leverage Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and other cloud-based technologies.
• Support cloud-native application development, deployment automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve cloud scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

AI Development & Integration

• Design, develop, and integrate AI-powered functionality into enterprise applications.
• Work with AI technologies, services, APIs, or frameworks to build intelligent application features and solutions.
• Develop integrations with large language models (LLMs), generative AI services, or other AI-based platforms.
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities to incorporate AI capabilities into existing and new applications.
• Support the development, testing, and deployment of AI-enabled solutions within Azure or other application environments.

Required Qualifications

• Strong professional experience as a Full Stack Developer, with demonstrated hands-on expertise across both frontend and backend technologies.
• Required: Ability and willingness to work in a true 50% frontend / 50% backend development capacity. Candidates must possess strong technical proficiency in both areas.
• Required: C# and .NET/.NET Core experience developing backend applications, APIs, and services.
• Required: Angular OR React experience developing modern, production-level frontend applications.
• Required: SQL experience, including relational database development, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
• Required: Microsoft Azure experience, including hands-on development, deployment, or integration of cloud-based applications and services.
• Required: Hands-on AI development experience, including building, integrating, or implementing AI-powered applications, features, or services.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integration between frontend and backend systems.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Git, version control, and modern software development practices.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, application architecture, and software engineering best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, OpenAI APIs, or other generative AI platforms.
• Experience with LLM integrations, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, or AI agents.
• Familiarity with Entity Framework, LINQ, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipeline development.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Experience developing enterprise-level, cloud-native applications.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and secure coding practices.
