Construction Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW
We're looking for a Construction Manager to lead field execution on electrical and instrumentation projects across the oil, gas, and petrochemical sectors. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives managing complex industrial construction from planning through completion.

Salary: Based on Experience
Location: Pasadena, TX (Houston area)
Schedule: Monday - Friday, full-time (some flexibility for project needs)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of electrical and instrumentation construction projects from inception to completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and manpower to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Supervise field crews, foremen, and subcontractors to maintain quality and productivity standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and project updates
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and site regulations across all phases of construction
• Coordinate material procurement, equipment logistics, and vendor relationships
• Identify and resolve field issues, scope changes, and scheduling conflicts as they arise
• Prepare progress reports, cost tracking, and project documentation

REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• 5+ years of construction management experience, ideally in electrical and instrumentation or industrial construction
• Experience managing projects in oil and gas, pipeline, marine, or petrochemical environments
• Strong working knowledge of construction safety standards and site compliance
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Proven leadership managing field crews and subcontractors
• Valid driver's license

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with CPM scheduling and project management software
