Superintendent

POSITION OVERVIEW

Salary: Competitive hourly rate + truck and gas card + per diem
Location: Travel Required (Project-Based)
Schedule: Project-Based
Role Type: Direct-Hire, Full-Time

CLIENT OVERVIEW

Our client is a Texas-based electrical contractor with nearly 30 years in operation, specializing in large-scale greenfield construction across oil and gas, industrial water, power infrastructure, data centers, and semiconductor facilities. Their project portfolio includes active work on some of the largest industrial construction projects in the country, with contracts that have grown significantly due to repeat performance. They are selective about the work they take, highly relationship-driven, and built around a core network of loyal superintendents who are treated as the backbone of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and manage electrical crews on large-scale greenfield industrial construction projects
  • Direct day-to-day field operations including scheduling, manpower coordination, and subcontractor oversight
  • Maintain project safety, quality, and productivity standards on site
  • Communicate regularly with project management on progress, issues, and resource needs
  • Mentor and develop journeymen and apprentices in the field
  • Coordinate with other trades and general contractors to maintain project schedules
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with project specifications, NEC standards, and client requirements

REQUIREMENTS

Required:

  • 10+ years of electrical construction experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in a superintendent or lead role
  • Proven background in large-scale industrial or greenfield construction (oil and gas, data centers, semiconductor, power, or industrial water)
  • Ability and willingness to travel full-time to project sites
  • Strong working knowledge of the NEC and applicable electrical codes
  • Track record of managing large crews (50+ workers preferred)
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred:

  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience working on projects with 200+ workers on site
  • Established relationships within the industrial electrical construction industry
