Administrative Assistant
POSITION OVERVIEW This is a fully remote role for someone who genuinely wants to help families during a stressful and emotional time. You will be the first point of contact for families reaching out for guidance on senior care, handling intake calls with warmth, keeping every family organized in the pipeline, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you have a background in healthcare and a heart for helping people, this one is worth a closer look.
Salary:$20 - $22 per hour
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

CLIENT OVERVIEW Our client is a senior care advisory service that helps families find the right senior living and care options for their loved ones. They guide families through one of the hardest decisions they will face, and they do it with real care. The team works around four core values: dependable, ethical, teamwork, and thoughtfulness. Every team member is expected to act as a guide for the families they serve and to bring those values into their daily work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle intake calls with families and new referrals, listening with empathy and gathering the information needed to help them
- Enter and maintain family information in the company software system, keeping records accurate and current
- Track every family in the pipeline and always know where each one stands
- Communicate regularly with advisors on the status of each family so the team has a clear picture of where everyone is in the process
- Follow up with families to keep them supported and moving forward
- Schedule meetings and coordinate with referral sources as needed
- Take on other administrative tasks as they come up
REQUIREMENTS
Required:
- Knowledge of HIPAA and the ability to stay compliant when handling sensitive family and health information
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple families and leads at once
- A warm, empathetic phone presence and comfort talking with families during an emotional time
- Comfort with technology and the ability to learn a new software system (the training is straightforward)
- A genuine team player who is dependable, ethical, and thoughtful
Preferred:
- A working understanding of the healthcare system
- Background as a nurse or in another clinical healthcare role
- Prior experience in senior care, healthcare administration, or family-facing coordination
