Equipment Specialist
Position Overview
If you know equipment inside and out and enjoy helping customers find the right solution for the job, this role was built for you. As the primary resource for our equipment division, you'll serve as the go-to expert on Vermeer, Woods, and Pro Driver product lines. This is a hands-on position where product knowledge, problem-solving, and customer service all come together in a supportive, family-owned environment.
Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 (based on experience)
Location: 411 Ten Mile Road, Amity, PA 15311
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (no evenings or weekends)

Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-house expert for Vermeer, Woods, and Pro Driver equipment lines
- Assist customers in selecting equipment, attachments, and parts based on their operational needs
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide technical support to customers and internal staff
- Process and manage warranty claims and related documentation
- Maintain relationships with manufacturers and dealer representatives
- Manage equipment, parts, and accessory inventory
- Coordinate parts ordering and vendor communications
- Perform basic equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and minor repairs
- Communicate equipment features, operating procedures, and safety information clearly
- Maintain showroom displays, equipment listings, and online inventory
- Support process improvements and contribute to department growth
Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify practical solutions
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated with solid organizational and time-management habits
- Comfortable learning new technologies, software, and manufacturer programs
Preferred:
- Experience in equipment sales, parts, service, warranty administration, or repair
- Background in agriculture, construction, or a related equipment field
- Familiarity with farm equipment, tractors, implements, skid loaders, or similar machinery
- Welding, fabrication, or hands-on repair experience (a plus, not a requirement)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work in variable conditions
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to alternate between sitting, standing, lifting, and moving throughout the day
- Occasional travel as needed
