Land Tech (Long-Term Contract)
Location: Canonsburg, PA
Hybrid: 3–4 days in office
Pay: Competitive day rate + benefits (health, dental, vision) + 401(k) match after 60 days
Seeking a detail-oriented Land Tech who loves administrative work. This role supports land and title teams by organizing documents, maintaining records, and ensuring data accuracy. Long-term contract with stable, ongoing workload. Title or abstract experience is a plus, not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize land files, leases, agreements, and related documents
- Set up new agreements in land systems to generate tracking numbers and maintain related spreadsheets
- Perform data entry, updates, and verification across land and vendor databases
- Prepare and process check requests, verify dollar amounts, and coordinate approval signatures
- Support land agents with documentation, reports, and requests
- Receive and code vendor invoices, log them on tracking spreadsheets, and route through the approval workflow
- Scan payment packets and agreement documents into well files for recordkeeping
- Maintain high accuracy in filing, scanning, and document control
- Assist with landowner notifications, including preparing contact lists and making outreach calls prior to field operations
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners as needed
Requirements
- Strong administrative experience (must enjoy admin work)
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in MS Office and comfort with data-heavy tasks
- Title/abstract familiarity is nice to have
