Position Overview
Our client is seeking a Structural Engineer to join their growing consulting firm specializing in practical, solutions-driven structural design for industrial and commercial projects.
This is a 100% remote position offering the chance to work on diverse structural engineering challenges alongside a highly experienced team led by a licensed P.E./S.E. with over 25 years in the industry.
Salary: Up to $150,000 (based on experience and licensure)

Our client is a structural engineering consulting firm built on a principled, practical, and mindful approach to design. They specialize in superstructure and foundation design across steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures, serving industrial, oil and gas, and commercial clients nationwide. Led by a licensed structural engineer with experience across 24 states, the firm emphasizes clear communication, collaborative problem-solving, and designs that are built around each project's unique definition of success.
Responsibilities:
• Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures
• Develop foundation designs including shallow footings, drilled piers, and driven piles
• Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with project teams to define scope, schedule, and deliverables
• Review and interpret project specifications, codes, and standards
• Support industrial, oil and gas, and commercial projects from concept through completion
• Coordinate with drafting team on design intent (CAD work is not required for this role)
Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Minimum 3+ years of structural engineering experience
• Experience with structural analysis software (RISA, STAAD, or similar)
• Strong understanding of steel design, industrial structures, or oil and gas facility design
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
Preferred:
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) license
• RISA software experience
• 10+ years of experience in lieu of licensure will be considered
• Background in industrial, midstream, or oil and gas projects
