Position Overview

Are you a driven sales leader ready to take ownership of a growing book of business and build a team from the ground up? This is a rare opportunity to step into a high-visibility role with a fast-growing commercial and residential general contracting firm in Pittsburgh, where you'll inherit key relationships and drive new business development.

Salary: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission
Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Our client is an established and growing general contracting firm operating in both the commercial and residential markets across the Pittsburgh region. Specializing in construction management and restoration services, they serve large institutional accounts and are positioned for significant growth. With a tight-knit internal team and strong local reputation, they offer a dynamic environment where your contributions will have immediate and lasting impact.

Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the company's sales function, transitioning relationships currently managed by ownership
  • Manage and grow key accounts across commercial and institutional clients in the Pittsburgh area
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive new business and expand market share
  • Build, hire, and lead a sales team 
  • Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and client meetings outside of standard business hours as needed
  • Collaborate with leadership to align sales strategy with operational capacity and company growth goals

Requirements

Required:

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in construction, restoration, or a closely related industry
  • Established network of commercial or institutional relationships in the Pittsburgh market
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and grow large accounts
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit and develop a sales team
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven by results
  • High integrity and a team-first attitude

Preferred:

  • Background in commercial general contracting or restoration services
  • Experience selling to large institutional clients (healthcare, higher education, etc.)
  • Existing book of business in the Pittsburgh region
