Salary: $50,000 - $65,000

Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-Time (In-Office)
Client Overview
An established company operating across multiple branch locations is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant to support their growing financial operations. The organization values accuracy, efficiency, and strong team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate accounts payable invoices through the approval process and enter invoices into the accounting system for multiple branch locations
- Process and verify deposits and post cash receipts to accounts receivable
- Send customer invoices on a daily basis
- Manage collections activities including monitoring credit limits, handling bad debts, applying credits, processing adjustments, and executing write-offs
- Create and update vendor and customer records as needed
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner
- File title work for customer purchases
- Administer and maintain records for company credit cards
- Perform additional accounting and bookkeeping tasks as assigned
Requirements
Required:
- Prior experience in an accounting or business office environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with effective time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Comfortable interacting directly with customers
Preferred:
- Public Notary certification
