Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full oil and gas division, setting strategic objectives aligned with company goals
- Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within budget and timeline constraints
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices
- Supervise hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development for division staff
- Coordinate procurement, equipment purchasing, inventory control, and supply chain logistics
- Manage payroll processing, budgeting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting for the division
- Drive continuous improvement through process optimization and innovative management techniques
- Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and vendor partnerships to secure favorable terms
- Promote a safety-first culture through audits, training sessions, and incident investigations
Experience
- Track record of successfully managing projects and operations within the oil and gas sector or related energy industries
- History of leading and supervising diverse teams in fast-paced, operationally complex environments
- In-depth understanding of industry regulations, safety protocols, environmental standards, and compliance requirements
- Skilled in negotiating contracts and vendor agreements to secure maximum value
- Background in recruiting, onboarding, training staff on technical procedures, and building team capabilities
- Working knowledge of inventory management systems, POS operations where applicable, and procurement processes
- Proven ability to manage budgets while upholding high safety and operational standards
