Position Overview

Salary: $90,000 + 5% Bonus
Location: New Castle, PA
Schedule: Full-time, Exempt (Onsite)
Client Overview
Our client is an established manufacturer specializing in air curtain technology, serving commercial and industrial markets with energy-efficient climate control solutions. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, components, wiring diagrams, and schematics for air curtain products from concept to production
- Conduct electrical simulations, calculations, and modeling to optimize system efficiency, performance, and reliability
- Select and source electrical components based on product requirements, cost effectiveness, and regulatory compliance
- Test and evaluate electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems during development, manufacturing, and production phases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and sales to integrate electrical systems into overall product design
- Build and maintain bill of materials (BOMs) within ERP system and prepare detailed technical specifications
- Monitor electrical systems during manufacturing process and provide technical support to internal teams
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in electrical engineering
Requirements
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3-5+ years of proven experience in electrical engineering role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and product development
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and relevant engineering programs
- Experience in electrical simulations, testing, and prototyping
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across teams
- High attention to detail and accuracy in technical work
Preferred:
- PCB (printed circuit board) design experience
- Experience building and maintaining BOMs in ERP systems
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines
