Job Summary
A residential and commercial property group in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support ongoing maintenance and repair needs across a large portfolio of rental properties. This role helps ensure safe, comfortable, and well-maintained living environments for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, and general residential tasks.

• Complete preventative maintenance and respond to daily service requests.

• Communicate clearly with residents, managers, and coordinators regarding issues and scheduling.

• Provide professional, courteous customer service to tenants.

• Use good judgment and problem-solving skills; ask for guidance when needed.

Requirements

• Availability for rotating on-call weekends and after-hours emergencies (bonus provided).

• Strong communication skills, reliability, and a solid work ethic.

• Friendly, respectful customer service and willingness to take feedback.

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a background check.

• Working cell phone and basic hand tools (additional tools provided).

Experience

• 1–2 years of residential maintenance experience, preferably with single-family homes.

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, framing, and drywall strongly preferred.

Compensation & Schedule

• 40 hours per week, with optional and encouraged overtime.

• Monday–Thursday work week.

• $18.00–$25.00 per hour based on experience.

• Quarterly bonuses available.

• On-call bonus available.
