About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Asphalt Lab Technician to join our team in Morgantown, WV. This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive base salary and the opportunity to work with a reputable paving and materials company dedicated to quality and innovation in asphalt production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the asphalt plant, ensuring efficiency and safety.

• Conduct laboratory testing of asphalt materials for quality control and specification compliance.

• Design and optimize asphalt mixes to meet project and customer requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of test results, mix designs, and material certifications.

Collaborate with production crews and project managers to resolve material or mix issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in asphalt testing, mix design, or plant management preferred.

• Strong understanding of asphalt materials, production, and quality control processes.

• Familiarity with DOT specifications and testing procedures.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Valid driver’s license required.
