Our client, a trusted leader in oil and gas production equipment fabrication and refurbishing, is seeking a Shop Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals who want to launch a long-term career in the energy industry.

Location: Darlington, PA
Pay: $18-$25/hr + benefits
Schedule: M-Th: 7am-4pm, Fridays: 7am-1:30pm (Potential for Friday's to be full days)

About the Role

In this hands-on position, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians to clean, prepare, and recondition oilfield production equipment. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of mechanical processes, tools, and safety procedures in a supportive, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical tasks and use hand/power tools safely

• Pressure wash and flush production equipment

• Break down, re-plumb, and rebuild inlet, outlet, and drain lines

• Sandblast, prep, and paint equipment as needed

• Operate forklifts and assist with material handling

• Support senior technicians with equipment tear-downs and rebuilds

• Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical issues

• Follow all company safety standards and operating procedures

• Contribute to field support operations as needed

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

• Ability to follow directions and work safely

• Forklift experience preferred (training provided if needed)

• Oil & gas equipment familiarity a plus but not required

• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
