Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Electrical Foreman to lead our electrical team on commercial projects in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.

This role requires an expert in electrical systems with the ability to supervise electricians and apprentices, interpret blueprints, and enforce safety and quality standards on every job site.

The ideal candidate will bring leadership, technical knowledge, and a commitment to completing projects on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of electricians and apprentices on commercial projects.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installations.

• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and company standards.

• Oversee installation of wiring, conduit, panels, lighting, and other electrical systems.

• Promote and enforce strict safety protocols on job sites.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate apprentices and journeymen electricians.

• Inspect and test completed installations for functionality and safety.

• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients to keep projects on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of electrical experience (commercial projects preferred).

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, installation techniques, and safety practices.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Proven leadership skills with experience supervising crews.

• OSHA training/certification preferred.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
