Job Description

Buyer – Steelton, PA 

Salary: $29.73/hour 
Schedule: Monday–Friday with overtime 

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and purchase mechanical components, weldments, machined parts, hydraulics, gear cutting, grinding, plating, and heat treating.

• Work with vendors to secure the best deals based on price, quality, and delivery speed.

• Evaluate and buy parts for daily operations and repairs.

• Negotiate pricing, shipping, and warranties.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.

• Ability to read blueprints and verify parts against specifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ERP system experience preferred.

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
