Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Superintendent to lead and oversee field operations for a multi-well, multi-pad oil and gas project in Sabine County, TX. This role requires strong field leadership, technical expertise in ESP-driven operations, and disciplined project execution.

Compensation:

• Contract Rate: $95/hour (equivalent to ~$200K annualized)

• Post-Conversion: $170K–$200K base salary + performance bonus + full W-2 benefits
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day field operations across multiple pads focused on ESP systems, flowback, workovers, and completions

• Manage and enforce field schedules, vendor sequencing, and construction timelines

• Ensure ≥95% ESP uptime; track and report downtime rigorously

• Oversee contractor performance, safety compliance, and all regulatory reporting (P-4/P-5)

• Own cost control and purchase order tracking across all pad-level activity

• Deliver concise daily and weekly operational updates to executive leadership

Ensure full compliance with all site safety and environmental protocols

Location & Travel:

• Role is 100% field-based in Sabine County, TX

• Minimal travel outside of site unless required for vendor or supply chain coordination

• Local residency required during the contract period (housing provided)

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 10+ years of upstream field operations experience (ESP, workovers, completions)

• Prior superintendent, field manager, or general manager overseeing multi-pad development

• Known and trusted crew or vendor contacts they can activate immediately is a strong plus

• Highly self-directed with strong judgment under a disciplined reporting structure

• Financially literate in burn rates, vendor costs, and operational budgeting

• Track record of enforcing accountability, safety, and execution in the field
