Job Title: Asphalt Laborer/Operator
Location: Plum, PA
Pay: $25–$30/hour (regular rate) | Up to $60/hour on prevailing wage projects (including benefits)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Asphalt Laborer/Operator to join our growing team in Plum, PA. This role involves working on paving crews for both private and prevailing wage state projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in asphalt work, be comfortable operating equipment, and have a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate asphalt equipment (rollers, pavers, skid steers, etc.) safely and efficiently

• Assist with all aspects of asphalt paving, including raking, shoveling, and hand tamping

• Load and unload equipment and materials

• Follow safety procedures and ensure quality standards are met on each job

• Work in various weather conditions and physical environments

• Travel to job sites as needed (local/regional)

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in asphalt paving or general labor preferred

• Ability to operate paving equipment is a plus

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment

• Willingness to work overtime and weekends during peak season
