Administrative Assistant / Social Media Coordinator

Location: Remote/Hybrid (In-person visits to job sites for social media content - 25% of the time)

Hours: 20 hours per week (Option for full-time in the future, if desired)

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire

Compensation: $20-$23/hour + mileage reimbursement

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant / Social Media Coordinator to support our client’s business operations. This role involves a mix of administrative duties, accounting support, and social media content creation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is comfortable working remotely with occasional visits to job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with invoicing, bookkeeping, and other basic accounting functions.
  • Manage the permitting process and assist with proposals.
  • Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Obtain material quotes and coordinate ordering.
  • Handle permit applications and run permits as needed.
  • Create and manage social media content, including traveling to job sites (approximately 25% of the time) for photography and video creation.
  • Develop engaging social media posts to showcase projects and company updates.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in administrative support, bookkeeping, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content creation.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation for job site visits (mileage reimbursed).
  • Flexibility in setting and managing work hours.
