Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at one of the largest private oil and natural gas producers in the U.S. Based in Houston, TX, this role will offer a variety of general administrative duties and provide an opportunity to grow into more specialized tasks, including light database entry in our land management system.

Location: Houston, TX - On-site Role
Schedule: 30 hours/week. Monday-Wednesday: 8 hours. Thursday & Friday: 2-4 hours/day.
Pay: $22-$23/hour
Employment Type: Contract role through 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- General Administrative Support:
- Handle and distribute incoming mail, packages, and correspondence.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, both digital and physical.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments, and office events as needed.
- Assist with general office tasks, including office supplies management and equipment maintenance.
- Land System Database Entry (Potential Expansion):
- Assist with light data entry into the company’s land management system.
- Support the tracking and organization of land-related documents and records.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the system.
- Communication & Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other inquiries.
- Handle administrative tasks for team members as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a corporate or energy-related environment.
- Experience with database entry or similar systems is a plus.
