Job Description

We are looking for a receptionist to join our growing team in Houston, TX!

Employment Type: Contract-to-hire
On-Site Position
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Hourly Rate: $15/hour

Essential Functions

  • Customer Service - Take calls from lenders, buyers, attorneys, realtors, insurance companies and others are handled on a daily basis.
  • Welcomes office guests and directs them to the person or office they are visiting
  • Opens orders for title insurance via phone and email.
  • Submits daily deposits to Escrow Accounting
  • Forwards phone calls to appropriate recipients
  • Sends and replies to office emails
  • Maintains office supplies and places orders when inventory is low
  • Schedules appointments and meetings for employees and coordinates with clients regarding the meetings
  • Keeps office records up to date
  • Sending and receiving mail and other correspondence
  • Performing various other clerical tasks including faxing, transcribing and filing

Skills/Capabilities

  • Needs to be able to communicate professionally with HNW clients in the central Houston market.
  • Understanding and ability to work in various computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel/Word/Outlook) as well as title and escrow software.
  • Candidate must be able to juggle multiple tasks with accuracy
  • Have strong administrative skills, possess excellent customer service skills and be reliable, consistent and self-regulating.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to details
  • Escrow and title experience preferred
  • Upbeat and personable. This is a customer facing role and as such a high degree of relatability and professionalism is required
