  • Utilize ETAP or similar tools for electrical system analysis
  • Apply and interpret industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, API)

Field & Commissioning Support

  • Oversee site testing and commissioning activities, including load bank testing
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure proper installation and system performance
  • Support troubleshooting and system validation during startup

Project Leadership

  • Lead electrical scope on mid to large-sized EPC projects or proposals

  • Review and guide the work of engineering team members
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other disciplines and project stakeholders
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for internal and external teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • 10–15+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience (EPC or industrial preferred)
  • Strong experience with:
    • Electrical system design and commissioning
    • Power distribution systems
    • Field execution and site support
  • Working knowledge of ETAP or similar power system analysis software
  • Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, API, and other applicable standards
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred, not required)

What You’ll Bring

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership presence and technical credibility
  • Experience balancing design, field execution, and client expectations
  • A practical, solutions-driven mindset focused on improving efficiency and reducing costs

Working Conditions

  • Remote role with frequent travel (60–70%) to project sites
  • Ability to work extended hours or weekends as project demands require
  • Must maintain consistent attendance and meet project deadlines
  • Work safely in both office and industrial field environments

Why This Role

This is a high-impact role for a senior engineer who wants to own projects end-to-end—from design through commissioning—while working on complex, large-scale EPC projects with a strong level of autonomy.
