Jr Frontend Developer (Vue 3)

Location: 100% Remote
Type: Full-Time

Overview

A growing software development company is seeking a Junior Frontend Developer to join their fully remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work on modern web applications using cutting-edge tools—including AI-assisted development workflows.

You’ll be working alongside experienced engineers to build scalable, high-performance applications using the latest frontend technologies, with a strong focus on the Vue 3 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, user-friendly web applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and product managers
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices (SOLID, DRY, etc.)
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving engineering standards
• Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and end-to-end)
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code quality

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in modern web application development
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ESNext)
• Hands-on experience with the Vue 3 ecosystem:
  • Composition API
  • Pinia
  • PrimeVue (or similar UI frameworks)
• Familiarity with Node.js and backend integration concepts
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Vitest, Cypress, Playwright)
• Understanding of software design principles and engineering best practices (SOLID, DRY, etc.)
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code or similar strongly preferred)
• Ability to read and write technical documentation

Nice to Have

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Familiarity with ORMs like Prisma
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Workflows)
• Knowledge of GraphQL and/or Protocol Buffers (Protobuf)
• Experience with data visualization tools such as D3.js
