An established oil & gas owner/operator is adding an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead to support enterprise-wide transformation efforts. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, execution, and people—owning how change is planned, communicated, adopted, and sustained across the organization.
The OCM Lead will take point on high-impact initiatives that span multiple business functions, ensuring new technologies, processes, and operating models are successfully embedded into day-to-day work. Beyond project delivery, this individual will help shape and mature the company’s broader change management practice, tools, and standards.
Design and lead comprehensive change approaches that enable the successful adoption of new systems, processes, and operating models
Apply structured change frameworks and practical tools to translate strategy into executable plans
Partner closely with project teams and business leaders to evaluate organizational impact and define audience-specific adoption tactics
Develop clear, engaging communication and engagement materials such as executive briefings, presentations, and visual content
Anticipate resistance and proactively address change-related risks before they disrupt progress
Track readiness, adoption, and engagement metrics; adjust strategies based on feedback and data
Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Act as a trusted advisor and coach on change practices for leaders and project teams
Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of OCM methodologies, templates, and governance standards
Build strong working relationships across business units, IT, and external partners
Support additional initiatives and priorities as needed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
5+ years of experience leading teams and driving change within complex, matrixed organizations
Demonstrated success delivering change initiatives with strong planning, execution, and follow-through
Deep understanding of formal change management methodologies and how to apply them in real-world environments
Proven ability to support large-scale process improvements, technology implementations, or enterprise transformations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex or technical concepts for non-technical audiences
Comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with competing priorities
Experience measuring change effectiveness and adjusting tactics to improve outcomes
Strong facilitation, influence, and consensus-building skills
Analytical mindset with the ability to prioritize work, manage ambiguity, and resolve conflicting objectives
High level of professionalism, accountability, and customer-service orientation
CCMP, Prosci, or comparable change management certification
Experience presenting technical workflows, system diagrams, or solution concepts to business audiences
Familiarity with ITIL principles and structured change, incident, and problem management processes
Hybrid work arrangement based in Houston
