Measurement (Flowcal) Analyst – Part-Time, Remote (Contract)

10–20 hours per week | Flexible evenings/weekends | Oil & Gas

An oil & gas operator is seeking a highly skilled Measurement Analyst with deep hands-on experience in Flowcal administration, data validation, and system support. This fully remote, part-time contract role is ideal for someone looking to take on moonlight work during evenings or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the Flowcal application, including installation, configuration, integrations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Review, validate, and reconcile daily and monthly gas and liquid measurement data.

• Investigate discrepancies, data gaps, and imbalances, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Flowcal interfaces with other systems.

• Work with measurement, accounting, and operations teams to ensure data integrity and timely issue resolution.

• Perform edits, recalculations, trending, reporting, and audit support as needed.

• Ensure measurement data aligns with operational, regulatory, and internal standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years supporting Flowcal, including application administration and system configuration.

• Demonstrated experience as a Flowcal Administrator, including performance tuning and issue resolution.

• Hands-on experience integrating Flowcal with systems such as AutoSol ACM, SFTP sites, and accounting applications.

• Strong understanding of gas and liquid measurement, EFM data, and data flow from SCADA to Flowcal.

• Background working within oil & gas operations or midstream measurement environments.

• Ability to work independently and manage tasks during after-hours or weekend schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA platforms such as Ignition, CygNet, or AVEVA Wonderware.

• Experience implementing or troubleshooting Flowcal interfaces to external systems.

• Familiarity with Talend or other ETL tools.

• Basic knowledge of PL/SQL or T-SQL development.

• Basic understanding of Java or .NET concepts.
