Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Residents Only)
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role:
A fast-growing software company specializing in cloud-based data visualization platforms is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure for both cloud and customer environments. This fully remote role requires expertise in managing service-oriented architectures, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud providers.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
CI/CD Pipelines: Build and optimize pipelines to automate software deployment, testing, and release processes.
Monitoring & Performance: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and high performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and customer success teams to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Security: Apply best practices and policies to maintain secure development and deployment processes.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across infrastructure and application stacks.
Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
Must reside in the United States.
Experience with microservices or service-oriented architectures.
Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Skilled with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation).
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Technical Skills:
Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Understanding of networking fundamentals.
Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are a plus.
Agile and DevOps methodology experience.

Excellent spoken and written English communication skills; additional language proficiency is a bonus.
