Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S. Residents Only)
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role:
A fast-growing software company specializing in cloud-based data visualization platforms is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure for both cloud and customer environments. This fully remote role requires expertise in managing service-oriented architectures, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines across multiple cloud providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, resilient infrastructure on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• CI/CD Pipelines: Build and optimize pipelines to automate software deployment, testing, and release processes.

• Monitoring & Performance: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and high performance.

• Collaboration: Work closely with development and customer success teams to maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

• Security: Apply best practices and policies to maintain secure development and deployment processes.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues across infrastructure and application stacks.

• Documentation: Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.

• Must reside in the United States.

• Experience with microservices or service-oriented architectures.

• Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Skilled with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm, CloudFormation).

• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills:

• Strong scripting skills (Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

• Understanding of networking fundamentals.

• Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Certified Kubernetes Administrator are a plus.

• Agile and DevOps methodology experience.
