Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced UPS Technician to join our team in Portland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role requires in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and commission UPS systems according to manufacturer specifications and client requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and testing of UPS systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair faults in UPS equipment, including battery replacements, inverter repairs, and other technical issues.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including maintenance logs, service reports, and inventory updates.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a UPS Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and safety protocols.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach.
- Relevant certifications in electrical or electronic engineering are a plus.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working with various UPS brands and models.
- Familiarity with battery management systems and power distribution units.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to UPS systems.
