Critical Power - Regional Field Service Supervisor

Location: Canton/Cambridge, OH | Travel Required | Flexible Hours

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Critical Power Field Service Supervisor to lead our field service technicians in delivering top-tier maintenance and support for critical power systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in power systems, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring operational excellence in high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of field service technicians, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.

  • Service Management: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of critical power systems, including UPS, PDU, STS, Battery Monitoring, and related equipment.

  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs and concerns while ensuring satisfaction with service delivery.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies. Conduct regular audits of service operations and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support for complex issues. Lead major repairs or installations as necessary.

  • Scheduling & Coordination: Collaborate with administrative teams to manage service schedules, allocate resources effectively, and coordinate with other departments to ensure timely service delivery.

  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and inventory management. Prepare and present regular reports to upper management.

  • Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations. Manage regional calibrations and PPE programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in field service within the critical power industry, with at least two years in a supervisory role.

  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, UPS systems, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, electrical licenses) are a plus.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of managing high-pressure situations.

  • Availability: Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including on-call rotations as needed.
