Maintenance Technician – Food & Beverage Production

Location: Marlboro, NY | Shift Work Required

About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our production team. This role focuses on keeping our machinery and production lines running safely and efficiently, from routine maintenance to troubleshooting complex mechanical issues. The ideal candidate is a skilled mechanic with experience in industrial production equipment and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical problems to minimize downtime.

• Set up machines for changeovers and new production runs, ensuring correct calibration and performance.

• Monitor line performance and make immediate adjustments to optimize efficiency.

• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.

• Work closely with production staff and supervisors to coordinate timely repairs and ensure smooth operations.

• Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic, ideally in food or beverage manufacturing.

• Strong understanding of production line machinery and basic automation systems.

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints.

• Welding, fabrication, or machining skills are a plus.

• Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
