A prestigious Houston-based law firm is seeking a highly professional and detail-oriented Marketing & Business Development Coordinator to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a polished, fast-paced environment and enjoys working directly with partners on strategic client-facing initiatives.
The successful candidate will have prior experience in a law firm setting, be confident in preparing and delivering client presentations, and bring strong organizational and communication skills. This position requires full-time, in-office presence.
Partner with firm leadership to develop and implement firm-wide marketing and business development strategies.
Assist attorneys with RFP responses, client pitches, and presentation preparation.
Create and maintain marketing collateral that highlights practice strengths and attorney expertise.
Oversee submissions for firm rankings, awards, and recognitions.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support practice growth.
Develop and manage external communications including newsletters, articles, press releases, and social media content.
Coordinate firm-sponsored events, sponsorships, and client engagement activities.
Ensure consistent firm branding across all channels, materials, and events.
Manage website content, SEO initiatives, and social media presence.
Collaborate with attorneys and administrative staff to ensure alignment on client development goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in marketing or business development, with at least 1–2 years in a law firm environment.
Direct experience working with attorneys/partners on pitches and client-facing initiatives.
Strong writing, presentation, and project management skills.
Highly polished, professional presence and excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CRM, website CMS platforms, and social media management tools is a plus.
