Job Description

Position: Senior Lead Electrician
Location: Houston, TX

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Lead Electrician to join our team at our Houston office. This individual will play a key leadership role in overseeing the installation and testing of MV/LV electrical equipment, including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, transformers, and UPS systems, as part of our Power Distribution Center (PDC) building projects.

The ideal candidate will bring deep technical knowledge and proven supervisory experience, with a strong ability to lead I&E craft labor teams, coordinate with engineering personnel, and ensure safe, high-quality execution of field operations.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise field electricians and I&E craft labor on PDC electrical installation projects.

  • Coordinate materials, tools, equipment, work packages, and labor allocation to ensure timely project execution.

  • Develop and maintain work schedules and manpower loading charts.

  • Interface daily with project management and engineering teams to align on scheduling, technical issues, and performance objectives.

  • Provide direct supervision to foremen responsible for installing MV/LV electrical systems and associated equipment.

  • Manage and ensure accurate completion of project documentation, including daily reports, time tickets, safety reports, and required forms.

  • Champion safety culture on-site and ensure full compliance with company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.

  • Support the investigation and reporting of all job-site safety incidents or accidents.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience supervising the installation and testing of industrial MV/LV electrical systems.

  • Current Journeyman Electrician License (Texas).

  • Proven track record of successfully managing electrical installation teams and delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced industrial environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project).

  • Experienced in reviewing and redlining drawings using Bluebeam or Adobe.

  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and general electrical safety requirements.
