Job Title: Logistics/Freight Sales Manager
Our client is a reputable logistics company located in the Galena Park area. With a focus on providing efficient freight and Less than Truckload (LTL) services, they are committed to delivering exceptional logistics solutions to their clients. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team as a Freight Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the company's customer base and increase revenue.
- Provide guidance and support to sales team members, assisting them in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
Business Development:
- Identify new business opportunities and target markets for freight and LTL services.
- Cultivate relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders in the transportation industry.
- Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
Process Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in the freight sales process and implement solutions to streamline operations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and optimization to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Implement best practices and standardized procedures to improve the overall sales process.
Client Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and recommendations on freight and LTL services.
Team Building and Development:
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales team members as needed.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to sales staff to support their professional growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment focused on achieving collective goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in freight sales, with experience selling LTL services preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Prior experience in process improvement or operations optimization is a plus.
