Our client, a well-established and growing staffing firm serving the West Texas market, is creating a brand-new role due to increasing demand from existing clients for direct-hire talent solutions.
This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial recruiter or salesperson who wants to build and grow a permanent placement desk while leveraging an established client base, strong market reputation, and existing service agreements.
Unlike many recruiting roles, you won't be starting from scratch. The company already has long-standing client relationships and contract staffing partnerships that regularly generate direct-hire opportunities.
What You'll Do
- Build and grow a direct-hire recruiting practice focused on industrial, skilled trades, engineering, healthcare, and energy-related positions
- Develop and manage client relationships throughout the hiring process
- Recruit, interview, and present qualified candidates for permanent placement opportunities
- Generate new business opportunities from existing client accounts and service agreements
- Identify opportunities to expand staffing and workforce solutions within current customer relationships
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from business development through placement and follow-up
- Build a pipeline of candidates and clients to support long-term desk growth
- Serve as a trusted advisor to both clients and candidates
What We're Looking For
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, business development, or a full-desk/360 recruiting environment
- Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a business within a business
- Comfortable developing client relationships while managing recruiting responsibilities
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven by results
- Industrial, engineering, healthcare, energy, skilled trades, or light industrial staffing experience is highly preferred
