Sales / Business Development — IT Staffing and a F&A Rep

Location: Austin, TX (Onsite; Hybrid considered for seasoned performers)

About the Role

Technology Navigators is hiring two Sales/Business Development professionals to help rebuild and scale thier Austin market. You’ll open new logos, reactivate dormant accounts, and partner closely with a seasoned delivery team to drive contract staffing and select direct-hire revenue. This is a hunter role for someone who thrives on face-to-face meetings, disciplined activity, and turning opportunity into weekly gross margin.

What You’ll Do

  • Own a territory plan for Austin/greater Texas; target, map, and multi-thread decision-makers in growth accounts.
  • Generate meetings via outbound prospecting, networking, events, and referrals; convert to qualified reqs.
  • Negotiate terms/MSAs in partnership with leadership; set expectations that protect margin and delivery.
  • Partner with recruiting to prioritize jobs, calibrate quickly, and accelerate submittals and interviews.
  • Maintain clean pipeline and accurate forecast; track activity, send-outs, interviews, and starts in CRM.
  • Reactivate and grow revenue from past/dormant clients while hunting net-new logos.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2–5+ years of sales success in IT staffing (contract) or IT perm; strong record of net-new business wins.
  • Comfort with split-desk collaboration and fast feedback cycles with recruiting.
  • Local market presence and credibility; enjoys onsite meetings and relationship-building.
  • Process rigor: prospecting blocks, pipeline hygiene, consistent follow-through, and data-driven decisions.
  • Professional, ethical approach—respects non-compete/non-solicit boundaries.

Success Looks Like

  • 30/60/90: from validated territory plan and 8–10 DM meetings to multiple open reqs and initial starts.
  • Quarterly: 6–12 contractor starts (mix by book) or equivalent direct-hire wins; improving margin quality.
  • Year one: stable weekly gross margin, expanded footprint in 5–8 core accounts, 2–3 net-new MSAs.
