About the Role
We are seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development / Billing Manager to lead a growing Technology recruitment division in New York. This is a high-impact “player-coach” role—combining leadership, mentorship, and personal billings. You’ll be responsible for building client relationships, onboarding new accounts, driving revenue growth, and guiding a high-performing team in one of the most dynamic tech markets in the world.

Key Responsibilities
Lead & Manage: Oversee a team of experienced recruiters, fostering a service-first, collaborative environment while meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
Drive Business Development: Proactively identify and secure mid-market and smaller tech sector clients, developing multi-contact relationships across C-suite, HR, and hiring managers.
Bill Personally: Maintain a personal 360 desk, generating consistent billings through client acquisition, account management, and high-quality candidate delivery.
Coach & Mentor: Provide day-to-day leadership, performance management, and skill development for your team.
Market Strategy: Leverage market trends and data to adjust strategies, improve team performance, and maximize profitability.
Client Engagement: Conduct deep industry research, spec candidates into target companies, and position the business as a partner of choice.
What You Bring
Proven 360 recruitment experience with a track record of consistent billings.
Strong business development skills and a history of successful client onboarding.
Experience managing and mentoring recruiters while personally billing.
Familiarity with the technology sector or relevant verticals.
Background in smaller, entrepreneurial recruitment agencies preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
