Salesforce Scrum Master / Project Manager
Contract- 6 months
Nearshore remote role (Ecuador)
Role Summary
The Salesforce Scrum Master / Project Manager will lead Agile delivery and project execution for Salesforce initiatives. This hybrid role is responsible for team facilitation, project planning, cross-organizational coordination, release readiness, production support governance, and transparent reporting of scope, schedule, risks, dependencies, and outcomes. Salesforce Administration experience is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
Agile and Scrum Delivery
Facilitate sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other team ceremonies.
Coach Product Owners and delivery teams on backlog quality, story readiness, acceptance criteria, prioritization, and sustainable delivery practices.
Remove impediments, reinforce team accountability, and use delivery metrics such as velocity, throughput, cycle time, and defect trends to improve predictability.
Project Management and Governance
Develop and maintain project plans covering scope, milestones, schedules, resources, dependencies, assumptions, and delivery commitments.
Manage risks, issues, decisions, change requests, and action items; escalate matters that threaten scope, timing, quality, or business readiness.
Prepare concise status reports, steering committee materials, executive updates, and forecasts across concurrent Salesforce initiatives.
Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and shared technology partners to keep work aligned and moving forward.
Salesforce Delivery, Releases, and Production Support
Coordinate Salesforce work from intake and discovery through requirements, configuration or development, QA, UAT, deployment, and post-release validation.
Manage release readiness, deployment schedules, business communications, training dependencies, cutover activities, and hypercare follow-up.
Oversee production-support intake and triage, including severity assessment, incident coordination, stakeholder communications, root-cause follow-up, and corrective backlog items.
Partner with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, QA, and integration teams to balance configuration, custom development, technical debt, controls, and maintainability.
Cross-Organizational Stakeholder Management
Align priorities and delivery expectations across CoreVest Finance, Aspire HEI, and Sequoia while maintaining visibility into shared platform impacts and resource constraints.
Facilitate decisions across business, technology, operations, compliance, security, and data teams, ensuring owners and due dates are documented.
Support disciplined delivery practices appropriate for regulated financial-services environments, including traceability, testing evidence, access controls, and change governance.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Delivery Lead, Project Manager, or similar role supporting software or platform teams.
Experience managing Salesforce initiatives and working directly with Product Owners, Administrators, Developers, QA teams, and business users.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, cross-team dependencies, delivery risks, and executive-level communications.
Strong facilitation, organization, written communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or comparable delivery and documentation tools.
Scrum certification such as CSM or PSM, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with objects, fields, Flows, validation rules, record types, permission sets, sharing, reports, and dashboards.
Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator, or related Salesforce certification.
Project management certification such as PMP, CAPM, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Salesforce release and DevOps practices or tools such as Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Salesforce DevOps Center, and Git-based deployment processes.
Experience in mortgage, lending, real estate finance, fintech, or another regulated financial-services environment.
