Job Description
Systems Analyst 3 (1756)Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Thurs) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius).
1 Year Contract
Required
8 Years - Experience in IT, supporting the design, development, deployment, or delivery of technology solutions.
8 Years - Experience using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) to migrate data from Oracle to AWS.
8 Years - Experience with batch and real-time data ingestion, including full loads, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming architectures.
8 Years - Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically designing and implementing infrastructure and networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, routing).
8 Years - Experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).
8 Years - Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data integration methodologies in cloud migration projects.
8 Years - Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
8 Years - Experience configuring and managing cloud network security, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and security groups.
8 Years - Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail).
8 Years - Experience developing data migration and cutover plans, including rollback strategies and minimizing downtime.
8 Years - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including documenting technical designs and migration runbooks.
8 Years - Experience with hybrid cloud/on-premises connectivity and legacy system modernization.
Preferred
4 Years - AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.
1 Year - Experience working in public sector or state government environments.
