Job Description
Role: Full Stack Developer - React/Node/PHPLocation: Nearshore (Ecuador/Colombia), Remote
Experience: 6-8 Years
Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and maintain modern web applications using React, Node.js, JavaScript, PHP, MongoDB and DynamoDB.
You will work across frontend, backend and database layers to deliver scalable, maintainable and user-focused application features.
Key Responsibilities
• Full Stack Development
- Build frontend components and application flows using React and JavaScript.
- Develop backend services using Node.js and PHP.
- Work with MongoDB and DynamoDB for data modeling, querying and integration.
• Engineering Quality
- Write clean, reusable and maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.
- Troubleshoot production issues, performance bottlenecks and application defects.
- Follow secure coding, version control and CI/CD best practices.
• Collaboration
- Partner with product, UX, QA and backend teams to deliver end-to-end features.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and sprint ceremonies.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
• 6+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript and PHP.
• Experience working with MongoDB, DynamoDB or equivalent NoSQL databases.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, asynchronous programming and web application architecture.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and Agile delivery experience.
Good to Have
• Exposure to cloud-native application development and serverless patterns.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD and observability tools.
• Working knowledge of security, performance and scalability considerations.
• Experience modernizing legacy PHP applications.
Must-Have Skills
• React and JavaScript frontend development experience.
• Node.js and PHP backend development experience.
• MongoDB / DynamoDB hands-on experience.
• Ability to deliver full stack application features independently.
