Role: Full Stack Developer - Data PlatformLocation: Nearshore (Ecuador/Colombia) Remote
Experience: 6-8 Years
Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong data platform exposure to build scalable applications and services around modern data engineering workflows.
You will work across UI, APIs and data-driven components using Python, SQL, GraphQL and cloud-native data platform technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Full Stack Development
- Build responsive application features and backend services supporting data platform workflows.
- Develop API integrations using GraphQL and REST patterns with clean, reusable code.
- Work with Python, SQL and data services to support reporting, analytics and operational use cases.
• Data Platform Integration
- Collaborate with data engineers to integrate Snowflake, Dagster, dbt, PySpark and related pipelines.
- Translate business and data requirements into reliable application features.
- Support performance, reliability and observability of data-driven application components.
• Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with architects, analysts and QA teams to deliver end-to-end vertical slices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies and CI/CD-driven delivery.
Required Technical Skills & Competencies
• 6+ years of full stack development experience with strong backend and data platform exposure.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, GraphQL and modern API development.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, Dagster, dbt or PySpark-based data workflows.
• Experience building scalable services and application components in Agile delivery models.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning and engineering discipline.
Good to Have
• Exposure to modern data platform modernization or analytics engineering programs.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and distributed processing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and source control practices.
• Knowledge of data quality, lineage and pipeline orchestration concepts.
Must-Have Skills
• Full stack development experience with Python, SQL and API integration.
• Hands-on exposure to Snowflake, Dagster, dbt or PySpark.
• Ability to work across application and data platform teams.
• Comfortable in a Git / CI-CD-driven workflow.
