Business Analyst 3 (1734)Austin, Texas (Position is ONSITE at the location listed above (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position.)
1 Year Contract
Required
8 Years - Experience gathering business requirements and translating complex data acquisitions and operational requirements into clear, actionable access paths for data profiling for complex analytics
8 Years - Experience explaining technical findings and data limitations in simple, non-technical language to end-users and leadership.
8 Years - Experience in a complex data analysis, senior business/systems analyst, and/or data liaison role.
8 Years - Strong experience with SQL for data extraction, data profiling, manipulation and enrichment.
8 Years - Experience collaborating with end-users and performance analysts or IT internal leaders to create and validate data profiles for analytics development and business data lineage analysis.
8 Years - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred
5 Years - Experience with Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse
5 Years - Experience acting as the primary point of contact for program staff with data profiling needs for analytics projects
5 Years - Experience working in a health and human services or similarly regulated environment, with a strong understanding of agency data domains.
5 Years - Experience with data governance and data quality principles
5 Years - Experience with data profiling tools such as Snowflake Cortex or Toad
2 Years - Experience championing data literacy across the organization
2 Years - Experience training and mentoring staff with varying levels of data literacy.
1 Year - Experience with AI prompt development
