Overview
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support a complex government project with a structured 3-week onboarding process. This role requires strong backend expertise in Kotlin and Spring Boot, solid frontend experience with React, and a good understanding of networking fundamentals.
This is a high-impact role on a long-term engagement, ideal for someone comfortable working in regulated, large-scale environments.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Kotlin and Spring Boot
Build and support frontend components using React
Work with distributed systems and network-based integrations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a government project environment
Participate in a structured onboarding and compliance process
Ensure performance, security, and scalability of applications
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with Kotlin
Strong experience with Spring Boot
Frontend experience with React
Solid understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts
Experience working on complex or government-related projects
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Nice to Have
Prior government or regulated-industry experience
Experience with large-scale or mission-critical systems
