Job Description
Java DeveloperEast coast (remote)
Duration: 6 Months (with possible extensions)
Experience: 7+ years
Java, Perl and Linux is must have
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Perl.
Write and optimize scripts to automate processes and manage data workflows.
Work extensively on Linux/Unix systems for deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, design reviews, and code integration.
Debug and resolve application, integration, and performance issues.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and release processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Experience:
Strong programming experience in Java (Core & Advanced) and Perl scripting.
Proficiency in working with Linux/Unix shell commands and scripting.
Experience in application deployment, configuration, and monitoring on Linux systems.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Perforce, Git, SVN).
Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Preferred Skills:
Having a background of working on Document Composition or Customer Communication management Domain
Experience with OT Exstream would be a plus,
Experience with middleware or batch processing systems.
Exposure to job schedulers like Cronjobs, Control-M, JCL or similar.
Knowledge of API integrations and web services.
